Eye of an Angry God

Imagine a vicious storm so fast that its forward speed could outrun the cars of the day and so powerful that of 179 massive summer homes nestled in the dunes of a resort barrier beach, only 26 survived.

Twenty-six people lost their lives in the small village that bore the brunt with an estimated 600 dying before it left the Northeast.
